The DS Jet Mixer™ is a patented system with an oscillating nozzle mounted permanently on the tank’s manway. It sends a high-pressure stream of diluent into the sludge, shearing and resuspending the wax molecules back into a useable state. It can extend your tank’s service life and drastically reduce cleaning costs and outage time. This technology lets you desludge and clean your tanks at any time without removing the tank from service or disrupting operations.

In-Service Activation. The DS Jet Mixer™ can be transitioned from dormant to active mode while the tank remains in service without lowering the product level in tank.

Durability. All components of the DS Jet Mixer™ are stainless steel or nickel-plated, providing the mixer with excellent corrosion resistence and virtually eliminating maintenance time and expense.

Adaptability. The outer adaptor flange of the DS Jet Mixer™ can be manufactured to fit any manway diameter of 20" or greater.  Our ATC Lance™ can install on manway covers without removing them or via hot tapping which allows for cleaning of tanks with solids above the manway level.  For smaller areas, our DSM2 Jet Mixer is specifically designed to be used in applications where a DS Jet Mixer™ trade won't fit, but where the rotatable, focused fluid jet can effectively clean, desludge, or descale a tank. When attached to a secondary source of cutter stock, the DSM2 Mixer provides an ideal means of injecting various chemicals, scavengers, or cleaning solutions.

A powerful 500HP diesel-driven pump and the patented inline nature of the DS Jet Mixer™ give the DS Jet Mixing System an effective cleaning radius of more than 150 feet, with a focused, high-velocity jet that moves through a 120° arc. Cleaning is usually completed in three to four days, and in most cases, only needs to be performed every two to three years.

When you're not using your DS Jet Mixing System, it rests in dormant configuration on the tank; an internal plug, an external plug, and an API conformant cover, offer three levels of leak protection.

Immediate ROI. The very first time you activate the DS Jet Mixing System, you can recover useable hydrocarbons from previously unusable sludge, increase your usable storage capacity, and reduce the time needed for future cleaning. And those benefits mean you'll profit from your investment right away.

No operational disruptions during activation. You can operate your DS Jet Mixing System while our tank remains operational and in service, removing the need for downtime and manual cleaning.

Improved safety. The DS Jet Mixing System significantly reduces the need for manual tank cleaning, and cuts down on or eliminates associated health, safety, and environmental concerns.

Fewer cleanings required. The most common reasons for unscheduled tank outages are operational issues related to accumulated tank bottoms. The DS Jet Mixing System, combined with our tank bottom management capabilities, can drastically cut down sludge accumulation, extending the period between required cleanings and reducing the likelihood of unscheduled tank outages.
